I’m Joseph Lamour, a writer, editor, and artist currently residing in the DC area.

I most frequently write about the social impact that entertainment and online culture have on the physical world, but have experience doing tech and app reviews, food news, science and more.

I have 5+ years experience working in various newsrooms, covering anything from the latest music releases for MTV News to race, LGBT news and internet trends for Upworthy.

As a Rhode Island School of Design graduate, I also do creative and art direction, graphic/web design, illustration and spend my free time drawing, writing lyrics, (I'm a singer too,) and designing.
